Founded in 2016 in Cyprus, Astere is a privately held, fully self-funded company. The name "Astere" comes from an ancient word for “star” — not the kind that burns out, but the kind you navigate by. That’s how we invest: with focus, independence, and a commitment to long-term outcomes.

Over the years, we’ve backed teams that scaled, pivoted, merged, or exited — including five that went public. We’ve also made bets that didn’t work — and we treat those as part of the process. What matters is learning, refining, and staying honest about what capital can and can’t do.
